[He knew he couldn't say "no". He didn't think for a second he should say "no". It was just hard to say "yes". They do live there...that is their house. Letting them go and not seeing them every day would be...hard too. He tried to not hesitate too much. After all, this guy has proven to really be nice! Truly.]

It was their decision to come here, so I would be okay with what they wanted to do. But if what you're saying is true, I don't have an issue with it.

[It really does help that he's being so nice about it. Really. And he trusts him that he'd keep them safe. It made him feel a little bit better.

Still though, that was a big thing to talk about and it would create weird changes that would take some getting used to.]

To be honest, Chaltier had little idea what to gift for the Secret Santa exchange (much less to someone he does not know); however, inspired by his young master's penchant for sweets, this seemed like an appropriate gesture. ]
